Building a New Palliative Care Hospital with integrated services at Adunaศii Copฤceni
Join Us in a Mission of Compassion
We're embarking on a heartfelt journey to establish Romania's first hospital dedicated to children's palliative care in Adunaศii-Copฤceni, 30 Km South of Bucharest. This vital project represents the final, crucial piece in providing a full circle of care for children with incurable illnesses and their families, complementing the organization’s existing services of daycare, therapy, respite care, home care, as well as summer camps for children.
Your contribution is vital to ensuring every child, with a life-limiting illness, enjoys the highest quality of life, providing essential support for both: the child and their family.

This Is Your Direct Impact ย
Weโre proud to share that, thanks to the generosity and dedication of our supporters,ย $11,583.73ย has already been transferred directly to theย Copฤceni Hospital Fund. This milestone was made possible not only by individual donors but also through remarkable community mobilization, from a benefit concert to diaspora-led volunteer efforts.
Tech-Driven Solidarity
One of the most inspiring aspects of this campaign was the enthusiastic involvement ofย Romanian professionals from leading tech companies like Apple, Google, and Microsoft. Their support, whether through donations, corporate matching via Benevity, or sharing the campaign message, played a pivotal role in amplifying our impact.

Diaspora in Action
This campaign served as aย pilot project for GlobalRomania Health, bringing together doctors from the Romanian diaspora who helped guide the cause with insight and purpose. A team ofย 24 peer-to-peer volunteersย took to social media, coordinated micro-campaigns, and engaged local communities across the U.S.
In total, we recordedย 109 donations via the RUF websiteย andย 34 additional contributions through Benevity. Online outreach led to significant visibility, engagement, and new connections across the global Romanian network.
Events That Inspired
The Teodora Brody benefit concertย in Chicago was a central highlight of this campaign. It not only helped raise essential funds but brought the community together in spirit and voice. You can see a few highlights from the concertย here.
In Romania, volunteers made an emotional visit to Copฤceni, where they witnessed firsthand the incredible vision behind the future pediatric palliative care hospital. You can view photos from their visitย here.
