Ioana lives in Tampa, Florida with her two kids and her husband. She believes teaching should be fun and engaging and she is super proud to be one of the first RUF Math Teachers.
Math Teacher Volunteer
As a little girl, my favorite pretend-play was being a teacher. After spending 15 years in the legal field, I am fortunate to say that teaching is my day-to-day reality. Whether I teach my adorable pre-kindergartners, my two children ( ages 9 and 7), or at Kangaroo Math, teaching is a source of lots of giggles, tremendous joy, and accomplishments. When I am not surrounded by little ones, I love playing tennis, cooking, reading historical fiction, and traveling.
