Community Ambassador (PPOC)
Objective:
The Community Ambassador (PPOC) serves as the representative of the organization within broader public and professional networks. Their role is to promote the organization’s mission, foster strategic partnerships, and enhance visibility through effective advocacy and outreach.
Core Responsibilities:
- Public Relations and Representation:
- Brand Advocacy: Act as the face of the organization, promoting its mission, values, and initiatives in various public forums.
- Media Engagement: Participate in media interviews, write op-eds, and engage with press to amplify the organization’s voice.
- Strategic Partnerships:
- Networking: Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including government entities, NGOs, and private sector partners.
- Collaborative Initiatives: Identify and pursue opportunities for collaborative projects and joint ventures that align with the organization’s goals.
- Advocacy and Outreach:
- Policy Advocacy: Advocate for policies and programs that benefit diaspora communities, leveraging relationships with policymakers and influencers.
- Community Outreach: Engage with community leaders and organizations to support grassroots initiatives and ensure alignment with community needs.
- Event Participation and Organization:
- Conferences and Seminars: Represent the organization at conferences, seminars, and workshops to share knowledge and best practices.
- Organizing Events: Lead the planning and execution of key organizational events, ensuring high levels of engagement and impact.

- Resource Provision: Equip Ambassadors with necessary materials, such as informational brochures, talking points, and contact lists.
- Mentorship and Networking: Offer mentorship opportunities and facilitate networking with other Ambassadors and key stakeholders.
