More About the "Lights on Democracy" Campaign
"Lights on Democracy" is an online and peer-to-peer fundraising campaign that aims to raise at least β¬30,000 for three organizations working on democracy in Romania: Funky Citizens, Declic, and RΔdΔuΘiul Civic to ensure that those protecting democracy in Romania have the necessary resources to monitor the presidential elections in May 2025, report issues and ambiguities, and properly inform citizens.

This campaign is organized by the Romanian Diaspora Funding Network (RDFN), a coalition of seven Romanian diaspora organizations and groups committed to supporting a united and philanthropic diaspora. RDFN's mission is to contribute systemically and sustainably to Romania's socio-economic and democratic development by providing support and resources to Romanian civil society.
