Your Role: As our Online Community Manager, you'll be responsible for building, growing, and managing our online community across various platforms.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Community Engagement:
    • Develop and implement strategies to grow and engage the online community.
    • Actively engage with community members through comments, messages, and posts across social media, forums, and other online platforms.
    • Foster a positive, supportive, and inclusive community environment.
  • Content Development:
    • Create and curate engaging content tailored to the community’s interests and needs.
    • Work with the content creation team to ensure consistent messaging and visual identity across all platforms.
    • Organize and host online events, webinars, and live chats to engage the community.
  • Community Support:
    • Serve as the primary point of contact for community members, addressing inquiries, concerns, and feedback in a timely and professional manner.
    • Monitor and moderate user-generated content to ensure it aligns with community guidelines and values.
    • Develop and maintain community guidelines and best practices.
  • Growth and Analytics:
    • Implement strategies to increase community membership and participation.
    • Track and analyze community metrics to measure engagement, growth, and overall health.
    • Use insights and feedback to continuously improve community management strategies.
  • Collaboration:
    • Collaborate with other departments, including marketing, content creation, and program management, to align community efforts with overall organizational goals.
    • Work with external partners and influencers to expand the community’s reach and impact.
  • Education and Experience:
    • Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Marketing, Public Relations, or a related field.
    • Proven experience as an Online Community Manager or in a similar role, preferably within the nonprofit sector.
  • Technical Skills:
    • Proficiency in social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, etc.).
    • Experience with community management tools and software.
    • Strong understanding of online community building and engagement strategies.
    • Familiarity with content management systems (CMS) and customer relationship management (CRM) tools.
  • Other Skills:
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
    • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build relationships with community members.
    • Creative thinker with the ability to generate engaging content ideas.
