This summer, I had an unforgettable experience in Romania, where I took part in the Cultural Immersion Camp in the charming village of Notig, Sălaj County. One of the most impactful parts of my time there was contributing to the restoration of an historic wooden church, timeless symbol of our heritage that have stood for centuries. These beautiful structures represent the spirit, faith, and history of Romania, and they need our help to remain standing.

The wooden churches of Romania aren’t just buildings; they are living memories, crafted with care and dedication by our ancestors. Unfortunately, many of these churches are at risk due to aging materials, environmental wear, and lack of resources for maintenance and restoration.
