I run for freedom. I run for equality. I run for diversity. And this time, I run for democracy.

On April 13, I will be running a 10K race at the European Running Championships in Leuven to support democracy in Romania. This isn’t just a personal challenge - it’s a mission to raise awareness and funds for democratic projects that protect human rights, civic engagement, and free elections.

Democracy doesn’t sustain itself. It needs people who believe in it, who stand up for it, and who are willing to go the extra mile - sometimes quite literally - to defend it. That’s why I’m taking on this challenge, and I need your support.

• €50 Donation: With your support, 5 independent observers will be ready to observe the electoral process in real time. Funky Citizens will train them and provide them with kits so they can properly identify and file complaints on election day.
• €100 Donation: Your contribution fosters critical thinking in youth and ensures the next generation will become active, informed citizens. Rădăuțiul Civic will organize at least one youth workshop on critical thinking and disinformation.
• €150 Donation: Produces one minute of fact-based election news. Declic will launch a series of daily news, so you will have up-to-date information about the elections.

By supporting these initiatives, you ensure democracy is more than just a concept. These organizations will train first-time voters, inform citizens of their rights, and oversee grassroots election processes.
