Funky citizens was founded to build online instruments of advocacy. They aim to educate and motivate young citizens to get involved and be responsible in the society that they live in.

The organization focuses on: education, urban life, administration, finance, justice, and human rights. Funky Citizens want to ensure more accountability of government spending and actions.

Their projects include:

Funky Citizens reached more than 5 million people online through their programs and projects, covered over 25 cities in Romania, and had over seven countries as partners.

Funky citizens is working on strengthening their presence at the regional level in Central and Eastern Europe through partnership and united voices.
