Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement comprehensive marketing and communication strategies and content calendar to effectively promote the organization’s mission and programs.
  • Oversee brand management, ensuring consistency in messaging and visual identity across all platforms, including CMS, CRM, social media & email.
  • Produce and/or manage the production of engaging content (text, visual, video) for multiple channels, including social media, newsletters, blogs, and websites.
  • Coordinate and manage public relations activities, including media outreach and press release distribution.
  • Plan and execute integrated marketing campaigns and events to increase organization awareness and giving.
  • Monitor and analyze marketing and communication activities to assess effectiveness and identify areas for improvement.
  • Collaborate with other departments and with our media and nonprofit partners to ensure integrated and cohesive marketing efforts.
  • Manage, train and mentor the team.
  • Administer the marketing budget and ensure efficient allocation of resources.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in marketing and communications, preferably in a non-profit or similar environment.
  • Strong understanding of marketing principles and strategies.
  • Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Experience with digital marketing, social media management, and content creation.
  • Proven ability to develop and execute successful marketing campaigns.
  • Leadership experience and strong team management skills.
  • Proficient in using marketing software and social media platforms.
  • Passionate about the mission and goals of RUF.
