As a seasoned attorney licensed to practice in Romania and in the State of New York, and as a licensed customs broker, I bring over 18 years of expertise in navigating the complexities of international trade regulations for multinational corporations like Caterpillar, Grainger, and True Value. My focus is on ensuring compliance with US import/export laws and regulations and managing Trade Security and Trade Compliance programs (CTPAT and CSR). My approach combines legal proficiency with practical strategies, to uphold the highest standards of trade compliance, identify gaps and implement necessary corrective actions. My academic background includes a JD from the University of Babes Bolyai, Cluj-Napoca, Romania, and an LL.M in International Business and Trade Law from the University of Illinois at Chicago, further solidifying my expertise in the field. It is an honor and a privilege to be part of RUF, and I look forward to making a substantial contribution to this great organization.Β
