H.E. Anton Lungu is a career diplomat of the Republic of Moldova. He has previously served as Deputy Head of Mission at the Embassy of Moldova to the United States, Head of the Economic and Sectoral Cooperation Section at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and European Integration, and he was part of Moldova’s diplomatic missions to the European Union and Ukraine. With a Master’s degree in International and Institutional Law and Economics, H.E. Lungu is an alum of the Diplomatic Academy of Vienna, the European Security and Defence College, and the Clingendael Institute of International Relations. In 2018, he was awarded the Government of Moldova’s Diploma of Merit.
