My name is Tatiana Tuțî, President of the
NGO Construim o Țară (Building a Nation Association) and founder of the national civic initiative “Romania Is You” (România ești TU).
I am reaching out to explore a potential partnership and funding opportunity to support the expansion of our national civic engagement program across Romania.
About “Romania Is You”
“Romania Is You” is a civic platform that promotes democratic dialogue, community participation, civic responsibility, and social cohesion. Through large-scale public events, regional conferences, and recognition galas, we bring together citizens, young people, entrepreneurs, local leaders, NGOs, and public institutions to strengthen active civic culture in Romania.

PRISPA Festival – Brașov (3 days)
– 42 county pavilions representing communities from across Romania
– Traditional parade, cultural programming, and public dialogue spaces
– Approximately 70,000 in-person participants
• “Romania Under Construction” Conferences
– Public debates on education, health, culture, business, and tourism
– Active engagement of civil society and local decision-makers
• “Romania Is You” Regional & National Galas
– Recognition of civic leaders, entrepreneurs, and community initiatives
Cumulatively, over the past year, our events have reached approximately 90,000 in-person participants nationwide, creating one of the most visible civic mobilization platforms of its kind.
Next Phase – 2026 Expansion
We aim to further develop and scale the initiative through:
• Regional “Romania Is You” Galas in 6 historical regions
• Traveling civic conferences in mid-sized and smaller cities
• Youth civic engagement workshops and leadership training
• Development of a national civic participation network
• Digital tools to facilitate ongoing citizen involvement
We believe our mission aligns strongly with RUF’s commitment to strengthening Romanian communities and supporting impactful civic and cultural initiatives.
