Dear RUF team,
My name is Miodrag Soric, and I am Chief Correspondent at Deutsche Welle (DW), Germany’s international public broadcaster. DW’s Romanian-language program has asked me to produce a TV report on whether Romanian heritage influences how Romanian Americans vote in the upcoming US midterm elections.
I am flying to Chicago tomorrow and will be there until Sunday. Given RUF’s central role in the Romanian community in the Chicago region, I would be very grateful for a short phone call today or tomorrow to hear your perspective and to ask for your advice and help in reaching suitable interview partners, such as voters, community leaders and families, across the political spectrum. If possible, I would also like to explore filming at a community event or location during my stay.
Could you let me know a time that suits you? I am available at phone/WhatsApp and can adapt to your schedule.
Thank you very much for your support.
Best regards
Miodrag Soric
