Hello,
My name is Dr. Cynthia Lintz, Chair of the American Institute for Southeast European Studies (AISEES) (aisees.org). Our non-profit 501©(3) organization is dedicated to promoting scholarly contacts and cultural exchanges between North America and southeastern Europe. AISEES was developed to promote greater knowledge of southeastern Europe and encourage research in all aspects of humanities and social sciences related to the countries in this region, including: Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Bulgaria, Croatia, Kosovo, Moldova, Montenegro, North Macedonia, Romania, Serbia, and Slovenia.
AISEES offers fellowships for North American scholars to conduct research and study in southeastern Europe and grant opportunities for southeastern European scholars to come to the US in order to participate in conferences. We also host an online lecture series; the upcoming lectures are listed below.
The intent of this outreach is the following:
1. To make you aware of our organization and promote its activities within your organization,
2. Ask if we could place a link to your organization in the online resource section of our website and vice versa you place one on yours β this will assist Southeastern European scholars to locate organizations of interest,
3. Consider becoming a member of our organization.
If you have any further questions about our organization, please do not hesitate to ask.
Respectfully,
Cynthia
