Robert Costin
MIT 2028 | USACO Finalist | Los Gatos, CA

For the first 2 years since I started coding, I created games on Khan Academy in Processing JavaScript. I started competitive programming in 7th grade and passed USACO Bronze in 7th, Silver in 8th, and Gold in 9th. I have used many platforms for coding competitions and practice, such as USACO, Codeforces, LeetCode, InfoArena, and many more. My current ratings in competition websites:

USACO: Platinum

Codeforces: 1893 pts (expert)

LeetCode: 2337 pts

Along with a ton of competitive programming experience, I also have 100+ volunteer hours at Equal Access Robotics, where I teach USACO Bronze and Silver topics (as well as a little bit of Gold for fun) to students from around the world through Zoom. I also teach them how to think in a competitive coding environment to maximize their chances of success in real competitions.

Finally, I have also done a little bit of competitive math. In 8th grade, I scored a 23 on the AMC 8 and a 111 on the AMC 10, which allowed me to qualify to AIME.Β
