We’re seeking a creative and technically skilled Content Creator (Paid) to join our communication team. You'll play a crucial role in developing and implementing comprehensive marketing and communication strategies to promote RUF’s mission and programs. Your Role: As our Content Creator, you'll play a crucial role in developing and implementing comprehensive marketing and communication strategies to promote RUF’s mission and programs.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and Implement Strategies:
    • Create and execute comprehensive marketing and communication strategies.
    • Maintain and update a content calendar to effectively promote the organization’s mission and programs.
  • Brand Management:
    • Ensure consistency in messaging and visual identity across all platforms, including CMS, CRM, social media, and email.
    • Ensure the management and adherence to brand guidelines.
  • Content Creation:
    • Produce and/or manage producing engaging content (text, visual, video) for multiple channels, including social media, newsletters, blogs, and websites
    • Utilize tools such as Canva and other visual content creation software to design appealing visuals.
  • Public Relations:
    • Coordinate and manage public relations activities, including media outreach and press release distribution.
    • Develop relationships with media outlets and journalists to enhance the organization’s visibility.
  • Marketing Campaigns:
    • Plan and execute integrated marketing campaigns and events to increase awareness of the organization and drive engagement and donations.
    • Implement inbound marketing strategies using data-driven approaches to attract and convert supporters.
  • Monitoring and Analysis:
    • Monitor and analyze marketing and communication activities to assess effectiveness.
    • Use analytics tools to identify trends, insights, and areas for improvement, and adjust strategies accordingly.
  • Collaboration:
    • Collaborate with other departments and our media and nonprofit partners to ensure integrated and cohesive marketing efforts.
    • Work closely with volunteers, partners, and stakeholders to amplify the organization’s reach and impact.
  • Education and Experience:
    • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, or a related field.
    • Proven experience in content creation, digital marketing, or a similar role, preferably in the nonprofit sector.
  • Technical Skills:
    • Proficiency in Canva and other visual content creation tools.
    • Experience with CMS and CRM systems.
    • Strong understanding of social media platforms and email marketing.
    • Familiarity with inbound marketing strategies and tools.
    • Competency in using analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, social media insights) to drive data-driven decisions.
  • Other Skills:
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
    • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
    • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
    • Creative thinker with a passion for storytelling and visual design.
