Your Role: As our Content Creator, you'll play a crucial role in developing and implementing comprehensive marketing and communication strategies to promote RUF’s mission and programs.
Time Requirements: Part-time, Flexible (max. 20 hours/week)

Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and Implement Strategies:
- Create and execute comprehensive marketing and communication strategies.
- Maintain and update a content calendar to effectively promote the organization’s mission and programs.
- Brand Management:
- Ensure consistency in messaging and visual identity across all platforms, including CMS, CRM, social media, and email.
- Ensure the management and adherence to brand guidelines.
- Content Creation:
- Produce and/or manage producing engaging content (text, visual, video) for multiple channels, including social media, newsletters, blogs, and websites
- Utilize tools such as Canva and other visual content creation software to design appealing visuals.
- Public Relations:
- Coordinate and manage public relations activities, including media outreach and press release distribution.
- Develop relationships with media outlets and journalists to enhance the organization’s visibility.
- Marketing Campaigns:
- Plan and execute integrated marketing campaigns and events to increase awareness of the organization and drive engagement and donations.
- Implement inbound marketing strategies using data-driven approaches to attract and convert supporters.
- Monitoring and Analysis:
- Monitor and analyze marketing and communication activities to assess effectiveness.
- Use analytics tools to identify trends, insights, and areas for improvement, and adjust strategies accordingly.
- Collaboration:
- Collaborate with other departments and our media and nonprofit partners to ensure integrated and cohesive marketing efforts.
- Work closely with volunteers, partners, and stakeholders to amplify the organization’s reach and impact.
Qualifications:
- Education and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, or a related field.
- Proven experience in content creation, digital marketing, or a similar role, preferably in the nonprofit sector.
- Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in Canva and other visual content creation tools.
- Experience with CMS and CRM systems.
- Strong understanding of social media platforms and email marketing.
- Familiarity with inbound marketing strategies and tools.
- Competency in using analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, social media insights) to drive data-driven decisions.
- Other Skills:
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
