Bianca obtained her PhD in 2021 at the Institute of Human Genetics in Heidelberg, Germany, where she worked on a project concerning autism genetics.

Before her doctorate, Bianca studied biology in Romania, the USA, Portugal, the Netherlands, and Switzerland.

A strong believer in the crucial role of communication in science and around it, Bianca is also involved in various science outreach projects in multiple languages, such as Pint of Science, Native Scientists, and the Romanian Science Festival.
