Iulia began studying at the National University of Theater and Film in Bucharest. She was awarded a scholarship for young talents from The Princess Margareta of Romania Foundation, being selected to attend THE ACTING CORPS workshop in Hollywood.

Throughout her years of study and beyond, Iulia enriched her experience as an actress and took part in a wide variety of projects. For two consecutive years, she received the Award for Best Actress at the international student film festival CineMAiubit for the films ''EU AND MY SISTER ''(Romania, 2009) and ''BETWEEN FRIENDS '' (Romania, 2010).

She represented Romania at prestigious international programs such as Sarajevo Talent Campus 2012 and Generation Campus (Moscow) 2013.

Since high school, she has been involved in organizing cultural events, film and theater festivals. She is a regular contributor to the Arkadia Shortfest Film Festival and the Victoria Film Festival.
