Weโ€™re looking for a volunteer to lead GRX, GlobalRomaniaโ€™s high-trust introduction engine, where members submit specific requests and get connected to the right people across our global community. Youโ€™ll run the end-to-end workflow, from intake to successful introductions, while coordinating a small team and ensuring fast, high-quality matches. This is a remote, flexible role with real ownership, ideal for someone who enjoys building systems, connecting people, and driving measurable impact.

In a few words, GRX is a global connectivity request system that allows you to connect with anyone in the GlobalRomania community, around the world.

Any GlobalRomanian can request a connection, and the system will automatically connect them with the top one to three people theyโ€™re looking for.

What GRX Is (Today)

GRX is a managed introduction service inside GlobalRomania โญ•, an online community platform powered by RUF (Romanian United Foundation).

People submit very specific requests to be connected to another person (or a very small set of people) based on different profession or expertise, geographic location, institutional affiliation, and lived experience.

GRX volunteers and staff actively search a private network and facilitate those introductions.

If a connection cannot be made quickly, the request is dropped or escalated.

GRX is not a funding platform, not a project launcher, and not a service marketplace.

GRX only facilitates introductions.

  • Today: GRX is a human-powered, fast-response introduction service.
  • Tomorrow: GRX may become a structured, measurable, pod-based exchange system.

What youโ€™ll own

Time / format

Remote, diaspora-friendly. Volunteer lead role with real ownership (typical 5 hrs/week, varies with volume).
