A most elegant evening with Paula Seling

This exclusive dinner reception in the company of Paula Seling and the high society of the Romanian Community of Chicago will be held at Stan Mansion, 2408 N Kedzie Blvd in Chicago, between 6 PM and 10 PM on May 21st. Get your evening gowns ready, this is a black-tie event!

Alin Useriu of Via Transilvanica and Tudor Petrut of Liceenii fame will also be joining us for updates and an exciting walk down the memory lane.

First ROCO Event

Marius Stan, ROCO Center Director:

"On April 14th, the Romanian Community (ROCO) center in Chicago, held the first event in a series of learning workshops.

The guest of honor - Greg Borzo - a celebrated author of nine books about Chicago's history and landmarks - gave a brief TEDx-like presentation, followed by hands-on skill development activities that engaged the audience. It was fun and informative.

As a result of the event, several book writing and publishing projects are now being pursued.

The event inaugurated the ROCO venue, a contemporary-style, elegant environment for gathering, communicating, and developing community activities.”

RUF Center of Excellence

On April 20, 2022, we gathered virtually to celebrate the completion of online courses offered by the RUF Center of Excellence.

This year 52 diplomas were presented to acknowledge graduation from the Math and programming courses at various levels, during a fun, atypical ceremony.

Kids were invited to use fun backgrounds and discussed the importance of incorporating creativity and imagination in their daily lives.

After the ceremony, they played games and shared good laughter trying to identify someone on the screen based on a brief description.
