During this 90 minutes moderated discussion (Thursday, March 18th, 9 AM CST), our panelists will introduce 3 startups and 2 of the most visible and successful venture capital funds from Romania.

The conference will be immediately followed by in-depth discussions for all those interested to invest in these outstanding businesses that are either going global or investing in global ventures. During the follow-up discussions, our partners may seek investments (minimum investment for each platform varies betweenΒ $2,500 and $300,000, with a max of $5M).

GapMinder is a $ 52 million venture capital fund that invests in technology companies in Romania and Central Europe, growing rapidly internationally and in the Seed or Series A phase. GapMinder partners have a direct approach as investors, helping companies grow through strategic consulting and direct involvement in the operational organization, corporate governance, and financial discipline. GapMinder's portfolio includes some of the best Romanian-born companies such as FintechOS, TyingDNA, DruidAI, Soleadify, Deepstash, Frisbo, SmartDreamers, Machinations, Cartloop, or Innoship.

SeedBlink is an online investment platform specialized in sourcing, vetting, financing, and scaling European tech startups. First-year of activity 2020, SeedBlink became an important participant in the Romania Tech ecosystem financing about 40% of all early-stage local financing rounds. Its portfolio consists of 34 financing campaigns, 12.1M EUR total investments (54% through equity crowdfunding), and over 4000 investors on the platform (retail and accredited). To lower barriers to private investments, we combine equity crowdfunding, syndicated business angels' groups, and VC partners, negotiating the same conditions for the community of retail or accredited investors. The minimum ticket size is 2,500 EUR allowing for high portfolio diversification.

FutureWorkForce, founded in 2018, is now one of the leaders in RPA implementation services in Central Europe with over 200 robots deployed in different industries (banking, insurance, telecom, retail, engineering, etc) in Romania but also in Austria, Germany, The Netherlands, United Kingdom, France, Italy, Saudi Arabia, Hungary. Eventmix is a white-label self-service solution that allows corporate event organizers to build their own virtual & hybrid events websites, in minutes. The company was founded by Sergiu Biris, a Romanian serial entrepreneur that has previously co-founded LiveRail, an ad tech company acquired by Facebook in 2014 for $500M.
