Join our team as a Nonprofit Resource Library volunteer and play a key role in building and organizing our resource library within the NONPROFIT CENTER section on Circle. You will help shape a knowledge hub for nonprofit professionals and volunteers by vetting, selecting, and organizing resources already curated by RUF in Quip, ensuring they are accessible and valuable to our community.

Position Title: Nonprofit Resource Library Volunteer
Location: Remote (with potential for hybrid meetings)
Duration: Flexible, part-time (5β10 hours per week)
Platform: GlobalRomania on Circle β
Key Responsibilities
- Review and evaluate existing nonprofit industry resources stored in Quip for relevance, accuracy, and quality.
- Organize and categorize resources into the following sections on Circle:
- Governance
- Strategy
- Marketing & Communication
- Fundraising
- Programs & Events
- Technology
- Specific Case Studies & Research
- Ensure resources are logically grouped, easy to navigate, and appropriately tagged for user discovery.
- Collaborate with the Online Community team to identify content gaps and recommend additional resources as needed.
- Maintain documentation of resource selection criteria and organizational structure.
- Assist in the migration of resources from Quip to Circle, ensuring data integrity and consistency.
- Provide technical support and troubleshooting for users accessing the resource library.
- Contribute ideas to improve the user experience and accessibility of the library.
Qualifications
- Strong technical skills; comfortable learning and using new digital platforms (experience with Quip, Circle, or similar tools is a plus).
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to synthesize and summarize information clearly and concisely.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Self-motivated, proactive, and able to work independently as well as collaboratively.
- Interest in the nonprofit sector and resource development.
- Experience with content management or digital libraries is a plus.
