The Coalition for Education is a federation created in 2015 by NGOs active in the field of education and its mission is to coagulate energies and resources to fulfil a courageous vision of learning in Romania. The federation was formed by a nucleus of non-governmental organizations with over 15 years of experience in the field and tens of thousands of beneficiaries, on different levels of education. 

During the last few years, we advocated for a better training for teachers, we organised debates on key topics and we have been contributed to the "Educated Romania" project.

Courage, passion for learning, freedom, respect, and a spirit of collaboration are the values ​​that brought us together and guide us in our common actions. The roles that we assumed are:

• to provide a space for dialogue that brings together people dedicated to education;
• to make proposals and promote improvements in public policies in education;
• to actively contribute to the development and implementation of a national strategy for education;
• to facilitate the exchange of good practices in education;
• to signal the deviations of the educational system towards the best international practices.
