Art/Film directing

At the core, I am and I will always be a film director and screenwriter. I've dedicated my life to showing on screen the beauty of our world without shying away from it's darkness. This passion for storytelling permeates every aspect of my professional life, blending seamlessly with my expertise in conflict resolution and emotional intelligence. With an MFA in Film from Columbia University and advanced training from Pepperdine's Straus Institute, I've cultivated a unique perspective on how narratives shape our understanding and how effective communication bridges divides.

Recognizing the critical role of emotional intelligence in high-stakes situations, I created EQ FOR HIGH IQ (www.eqforhighiq.com), a platform dedicated to empowering individuals with the tools to navigate complex interpersonal dynamics. My approach emphasizes fostering inclusive communication and creating environments where diverse perspectives are valued.

My commitment to the film community extends beyond production. I've served as a moderator, jury, and industry coordinator for the Los Angeles Greek Film Festival, previously held the role of Artistic Director at the Connecticut Film Festival, and currently I manage the Accelerator program at the South Eastern European Film Festival. Sharing my passion for filmmaking, I've also had the privilege of teaching at Columbia University, Trinity College in Hartford, and Western Connecticut State University. I also lead uniquely designed film programs for ground-breaking non-profits like Youth Rights Media, bridging art and activism.
