Some of the projects of the Doina Cornea Foundation

  1. Search, exhumation and identification of the victims of communism within the Center for the Investigation of the Crimes of Communism in Romania - department of the Foundation Doina Cornea.

  2. Organization of the Doina Cornea Library - Library of Resistance Against Totalitarianism.

    - we ask for book donations from the communities from the exile of the peoples who had to face totalitarian regimes.

  3. Publishing books and albums within the Doina Cornea Publishing House, created within the foundation.

    - we open the poetry collection with an anthological volume of the Cluj poet and journalist Sorin Grecu
    - we also open the art collection with an original photo album signed by Istvan Feleki - photographer of the Art Museum in Cluj
    - the complete diary of Doina Cornea that we intend to publish in collaboration with the publishing houses of the Civic Academy and Humanitas.
    - a painting and drawing album by Doina Cornea
    - the catalog of the painting and drawing exhibition Doina Cornea

  4. Arranging a memorial house in Doina Cornea's house
    - The memorial house will be arranged within a collaboration between Cluj-Napoca City Hall (owner of the building) and Doina Cornea Foundation together with Doina Cornea's grandchildren.
    - hiring a historian-museographer to inventory, preserve and offer to the public the few cubic meters of documents, manuscripts, letters left by Doina Cornea

  5. Organizing a concert on two pianos - Doina Cornea's piano and Iuliu Maniu's piano reunited on the same stage.

  6. Organizing, in partnership with all the heirs of the paintings, an exhibition with drawings and paintings by Doina Cornea
    - the exhibition will take place in December 2022 at the Art Museum in Cluj-Napoca
    - we intend this exhibition to be a traveling one and to be accessible to a wide public from various capitals. We are currently working for Bucharest and Paris ...

  7. Organizing symposia and round tables to reveal to young people the personality and teachings of Doina Cornea.
