• Environmental Sustainability: The Via Transilvanica project stands as a cornerstone of RUF’s environmental efforts. This 1,400 km hiking trail traverses Romania from northeast to southwest, highlighting the country’s natural beauty and cultural heritage. RUF's fundraising efforts contributed to the construction of 140 km of the trail, which connects over 400 communities and spans 10 counties. The project has been featured internationally, including events like the Via Transilvanica documentary tour in 7 U.S. cities and a prominent showcase in New York's Times Square.
• Healthcare Transformation: The GlobalRomania Health initiative aims to connect 5,000 Romanian healthcare professionals, fostering innovation and cross-border collaboration. Campaigns provided 260,000+ units of PPE and 97 medical devices to 140 hospitals, ensuring the safety and well-being of healthcare workers. RUF also spearheads efforts to establish Romania’s first Pediatric Palliative Care Hospital.
• Education: RUF partnered with organizations like Teach For Romania to deliver 2,000+ hours of online and 1,000+ hours of in-person education, benefiting 155 children, 12 teachers, and 315 kids with a $32,000 investment.
