Hello!

I am Ioana, another devoted student with an interest and international law, global dynamics and intergovernmental relations, currently pursuing my Bachelor’s Degree in Politics: Philosophy and Economics at Luiss Guido Carli University in Rome. My academic journey has been driven by a deep curiosity about how the world works, a passion that was fueled when I won the National Championship in Debate, Argumentation, and Critical Thinking. This achievement really shaped my approach to problem-solving, teaching me how to build rigorous arguments and think critically when facing complex geopolitical challenges. Currently, I’m very active within my university community, serving as a member of the International Networking Association where I curate global news for the INA Journal, and as a Data Analyst for the Luiss Women in Business Association. In these roles, I love the challenge of taking dense international data and making it accessible and meaningful for a wider audience. Beyond the classroom, I’ve always believed in using my skills to make a tangible impact. As a Social Media Analyst for Magic Amor ETS, I manage digital communications and connect with donors to support vital development projects for families in the Democratic Republic of the Congo. My perspective is also deeply informed by my time volunteering with the National Anti-Doping Agency and the Department of Child Protection, as well as my research into international organizations through the ASOI Project. These experiences have allowed me to bridge the gap between complex theoretical frameworks—like securitization or the Thucydides Trap—and the real-world need for human rights advocacy and strategic security planning. I am a native Romanian speaker and I am fluent in English, and I’m currently enjoying the process of improving my Italian while living and studying in Rome. Overall, I strive to bring a personal sense of integrity and a multidimensional, global perspective to everything I do.
