Purpose: This online session will bring together a select group of ~15 experts to help shape the GlobalRomania Whitepaper, a guiding document built on transparency, trust, and community participation.
To guide our discussion, we welcome your reflections on key questions such as:
- What principles should govern a trust-based, cross-border community like GlobalRomania?
- How can we balance transparency with autonomy?
- What collaborative models from other sectors can inform our approach?

Meet Our Strategic Experts
Paul Dragos Aligica is a prominent scholar specializing in governance theory, institutional analysis, and political philosophy, with a particular focus on alternative economic and governance systems.
Dana Diminescu is a sociologist and Associate Professor at Télécom ParisTech. She is known for her expertise on diasporas and digital technologies, particularly for developing the concept of "e-diaspora" to describe immigrant communities organized online
Marian-Gabriel Hâncean is a leading expert in social networks and computational social science, specializing in advanced network analysis and modeling to study human behavior, public health, and scientific collaboration.
Dina Ionesco specializes in migration, diasporas, and climate change. She led IOM’s migration, environment, and climate change work at the UN Migration Agency (IOM), co-created a Master's program at Webster University, and held roles at OECD, UNFCCC, and
Andra's main research interests are migration and diaspora analysis, particularly related to the Romanian diaspora. She co-founded The Diaspora Initiative, a non-profit research project focusing on these topics
Sandra is a Romanian author, communications expert, and adviser. She served as Presidential Adviser for Romanians Abroad and is known for her work in public policy, media, and promoting civic engagement, both in Romania and internationally.
Dragos's research interests are in labour and international economics. He works on the economic and political impacts of international migration and he teaches intermediate econometrics and international economics at King's College London.
Sintia is a communications leader in Washington, DC. She has 15+ years’ experience in tech, AI, and innovation, and previously led communications at ITIF and the DC Cybersecurity Task Force.

Robert is an expert in political science, education, and demographics. He focuses on human capital, social trends, and public policy, contributing research and analysis to shape Romania’s future.
