Romanian United Fund raised over $100,000 from the Romanian community in Chicago and throughout the United States. 100% of the money raised will be directed towards Via Transilvanica project, a 1,000-km hiking route linking Putna (in Suceava) to Drobeta-Turnu Severin.

The 1,000 km trail crosses the country from Drobeta-Turnu Severin in the South to Putna, in the North, in Bucovina.

Bring your American friend along and he/she will be automatically registered to win our raffle. The grand prize is a 7-day back-country guided tour of Transylvania in summer 2020 for two people.
