Meet & Greet Session
Wednesday, September 7th, 5:00 PM CST
Bring your kids and enjoy a fun and relaxed discussion about class.
In this class, we're creating actual games. Games that you and I can play, games that could sell for $1 on the Apple Store (almost). Be careful parents, this is addictive. And one last word of advice: bring a friend in (preferably the same age), it's WAAAY more fun when you do it with your best buddies.
Every Wednesday, 5-6PM CST
- Months 1-3: Drawing (12 sessions)
- Target Audience: 8-16
- Months 4-6: Animation (12 sessions)
- Target Audience: 10-16
- Follow up:
- Advanced students can join our private Game Building class (4 sessions + 8 Q&A sessions)
Game Design: The second part of class is based on students abilities and choices. Every class is different: we design a new game every time, and we walk the kids through creating their own games.

Previous Class: Fall 2022
Previous Classes: March 2020, Fall 2020
27 children started our March 2020 Module. By the end of the first 12 lessons, there were all able to draw, and some were able to do basic animations.
After a little over two months, with just a little help, the kids were able to create their own little game. Play our game on Khan Academy, and keep an eye on our Youtube channel for the latest version.
Everyone is welcome to join RUF as a member. This being said, if you do not wish to become a member, a $600 donation per child is recommended for all 3 modules. We have evaluated many other computer classes priced $1,000 and above, and we strongly believe our class exceeds everything else we've seen. Based on comparable classes offered in the United States, we estimate the value of the full class (all 3 modules) to be at at least $1,200.
Both teachers are passionate, experienced programmers, with many years of experience. Eli has been teaching this class for over one year, he has a degree in Math & Computer Science from Washington University and he is passionate about making a difference in the lives of young people who would love to learn more about these topics. Mihai has been studying computers since second grade and has taught this class several times. As a student, he won multiple awards at the National Olympiad in Computers Science in Romania.
A laptop or desktop is required, preferably a newer version (otherwise it will be slow). No apps are required, everything is within a browser (Chrome, Safari, Mozilla). IPads will not work.
