We are proud to announce the new community partners that joined us:
ARDOR (Asociatia Romana de Dezbatere, Oratorie si Retorica- The Romanian Association for Debate, Oratory, and Rhetoric), Conservation Carpathia Foundation (FCC), Cu Alte Cuvinte (CUAC), Federatia Fundatiilor Communitare din Romania (Romanian Federation for Community Foundations- FFCR), Asociatia Monumentum - Ambulanța pentru Monumente, Dăruiește Viață, Fundația Regala Principesa Margareta, Salvați Copiii (Save the Children), United Way.
They are joining the group of outstanding RUF community partners: Asociatia Magic, Caravana cu Medici, Code 4 Romania, Declic, Funky Citizens, Noi Orizonturi, Rise Project, Recorder, Tasuleasa Social, Teach for Romania, Vedem Just.
We are looking forward to working with them in this long-term partnership. We want to thank all the organizations that applied for becoming our partners in 2020. The "Ambulance for Monuments" project is targeting, in a desperate race against time, the salvation from collapse and degradation of hundreds of Romanian threatened historical buildings that are listed.
OvidiuRo focuses on making early education accessible to and effective for disadvantaged children throughout Romania via teacher training, providing rich educational materials, and parent education. We focus on early literacy for children.
Ajungem MARI (Growing GREAT) supports the education of 2.500 children from orphanages and other new foster care institutions. Over 1000 volunteers and specialists help the children develop the skills in order to become responsible and independent adults.
CUAC is an innovation lab focused on designing and implementing literacy and anti-bias education programs. Our mission is to help kids grow as readers and thinkers in a diverse world.
At ARDOR, we use debate (in clubs, optional courses and regular classes) to teach over 30.000 students annually the skills and attitudes essential to their becoming active and informed citizens and smart employees or entrepreneurs.
